Part-Time Studio Assistant – Order Packing & Shop Help
Sprinkles Studios | Ferndale, MI | $15–$20/hr | 5–10 hrs/week

Sprinkles Studios is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented human to help pack orders and keep our cozy little studio running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who takes initiative, thrives on routine tasks, and doesn’t mind a bit of organized chaos. Bonus points if you’re a current or former bookseller, library worker, or stationery gremlin.

What you’ll do:

• Pack and label online orders with care and precision

• Restock sticker drawers and other inventory

• Help keep the shop tidy, functional, and (ideally) less of a disaster

• Assist with miscellaneous small-biz tasks like prepping products, organizing supplies, and helping your boss locate that one thing she definitely just had in her hand

A few things to know:

• Hours: 5–10 hours per week to start

• Pay: $15–$20/hour depending on experience

• Training: Early morning shifts (between 7–10 AM), then somewhat flexible scheduling after that
  

• This is a short-term trial position (1–2 months) to start. If it’s working well for both of us, there’s potential for ongoing hours.

• Weekly hours may vary depending on order volume—I’ll communicate clearly when I need help (and when I don’t).

I’m the one-woman tornado behind Sprinkles Studios—a queer and disability-friendly, sticker-slinging, book-loving small business. I’m creative, a little scattered, and trying my best to stay on top of it all. I’m looking for someone who can roll with that, stay organized, and help keep things running even when my executive function has left the building.
